Always wondered who was the person doing this site? And wanted to know a little bit more about her? Well, here's the place. I am going to tell about myself, how I became an Avalon freak, and just whatever else that comes to mind. :-p

My full name is Linda Courtney Sehon. My birthday is Jan 12th, 1983, I am 16 years, almost a Junior, and I LOVE AVALON! I have homeschooled almost all of my life except Kindergarden and 3rd grade when I went to Christian school. My hobbies are photography and web design. I am also a missionary kid in Peru, South America. I moved to Peru when I was 11 years old and lived there til 96 when I moved back to the United States for 2 years. Then in July of 98 I moved back to Peru with my family. I live there now with my family in Cusco (the city close to Machu Picchu, for those of you who know what that is). --I am currently in Louisiana, U.S., for a working vacation. I am hoping to save up for a computer. I go back to Peru in June.--

I plan to finish school and then just see where God leads me. Right now I don't have any idea what I'll be doing for the rest of my life. God hasn't really shown me that. At this point I could live in Peru or the United States, either one, for the rest of my life. I LOVE Peru. And I also love the country I was born in.

Now on to how I became an Avalon freak....

One day I was listening to the radio (this is around November 1996) in my room while I was cleaning it. And then this song called "Give It Up" came on. So I like danced to it and was like, "WHO IS THAT" the whole time. So when it went off I stopped and listened really closely to see who it was. And the DJ said, "That was Avalon! A brand new group to the scene. I think it's 2 girls and 2 guys......." I was like, "That song was way cool! I have to get the album. But Avalon? I never heard of them. They MUST be new..." So I found out the album wasn't even released yet and I had to wait til Dec 26 to get it. *shucks* So when it finally released I bought it and finally saw what these 4 looked like... "Pretty good looking group!" I went home and put the CD in and was like *WOW!* on every song. The song that caught me the most was "The Greatest Story". I thought it was SOOOO pretty and I played it over and over and showed it to all my friends. I loved it. --FACT: to this day, "The Greatest Story" is still my favorite Avalon song--

So then my first opportunity to see them came that March (1997). They were on tour with Twila Paris. And the concert was 10 bucks. I didn't care about Twila, I wanted to see AVALON!!! Well, we didn't have very much money then and I didn't have a job so I couldn't go to the concert cause I didn't have any money. I was soooo sad. It was like so depressing. But the day of the concert they were going to be at a Christian Book Store way before the concert started. So I BEGGED my mom to bring me. My lil sister came along since she never met anyone famous before. I was soo happy!! Right when we pulled up in the driveway and got out the car. I looked to the left and there was Avalon walking straight towards us. It was like, "COOL!"... so I went inside to get out of their way, and got in line. When I got to them I was SOOO amazed at how nice and friendly they all were. Especially the girls (nikki and janna). Janna told my sister, "Oh you're name is Hanna? I LOVE that name, I think I'm going to name my daughter Hanna!" I mean, they were just all so incredibly nice and REAL. I was very blessed. :-)

So then I couldn't wait for their next album to come out. When I saw the ad in CCM for the new album, I was like, "EEEEEEEEEK!! I CANNOT WAIT!! WAHOO!"... I got it as soon as it released and LOVED IT! I thought A Maze Of Grace was better than the 1st album. I love it. :0) Then in April I saw they were going to be in Lafayette, La. with Crystal Lewis. I said to myself, "OH! I am NOT going to miss THIS concert! Thank you Jesus for giving me another chance to see them!!"

So I got my tickets big time in advance. Nothing was going to stop me this time. So I went and to make a really long story short, I got the best seat in the house. Middle of the front row. It was SOO close and I was SOOO happy! The whole concert I was telling God, "Thank you so much God! You are soo awesome! You knew I wanted a good seat! Thank You!" The concert was incredible as I expected. I didn't get to see Avalon afterwards because they didn't do an autograph session. But like the next day I got inspired to make them a web site. I had only been doing web sites for like a month. So I still wasn't that good at all. But this site started off with like 5 different pages. And then it grew, and I grew. I got better, and the site got better. It was cool. I am sooo very proud of this site and will continue it as long as I possibly can. I love that I can express my love for Avalon this way. It's not even "Avalon" I love really.... I love Janna, Jody, Michael, Cherie and Nikki. Those are the people I really and truly love with all my heart. They mean so much to me. Probably more than they will ever know. Their lives and ministry have touched me so much.

Now, I plan on meeting these people one day. And tell them in person how much they mean to me. It's a plan. And I'm always praying for this. Hehe, I know God will answer my prayers. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart..." LOVE YOU GUYS TONS!

Now, is there anything else about myself I'd like to share? Hmmm, NO, I don't have a boyfriend. I have 3 siblings. My sister Hanna (11), my lil brother Michael (8), and my precious baby brother, Stephen Paul (1) - He's the cutest baby in the entire world! (literally) I have many friends that are very dear to me starting with Emily! The three people I admire most is Michael W. Smith, Janna Potter, and Nathan Balcombe....... I like to be my own self. I am not influenced by what other people think of me whatsover. I don't care. I like to be DIFFERENT! WAHOOO! Anyways, if you would like to see some of my photography or learn more about me, please visit my homepage at welcome.to/courtney --where all your WWW dreams come true! God Bless! And remember I love ya baby! AVALON RULES!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!

With loads of love,
